Creating a Skin Care Routine

Franklin May 10, 2021 3 min read

Everybody has a different type of skin care routine, but there are some common ingredients that all skincare products should contain. Facial firming serums and eye creams can make a significant impact when used together. Even if you don’t use both products at the same time, they will still do the job. Tiege Hanley Level 2 Skin Care System, for instance, includes EYES but doesn’t contain the Super Serum. This system is ideal for people who sleep at night and wake up with eye bags.

First, you should cleanse your face with a gentle facial cleanser. Choose one that is designed for your skin type. Always remember to wash your face gently, without scrubbing too hard. Once you have cleaned your face, rinse with warm water. Do not use hot water as it will remove natural oils and cause your skin to be dehydrated. After your cleanser, apply a moisturizer to your face and neck, as well as the eye area. A basic skin care routine can take a few minutes per day.

Besides cleansers, you should also include face masks. Various companies sell masks, including Obagi, which has a 30-year legacy. Obagi products can improve skin texture and tone. You can choose between Obagi Medical and Clinical products. Facial cleansers are an important part of your skin care routine, as they remove excess oil, makeup, and other dirt from the face. Exfoliating cleansers are ideal for oily skin, and gel cleansers are perfect for removing makeup and improving texture.

When layering skincare products, consider the purpose and application method of each one. Thinner products may block the absorption of serums and moisturizers, while thicker products may not be easily absorbed by the skin. For best results, layer skincare products in order of thickness, starting with the thinnest and working your way up to the thickest. Then, repeat the process. By applying products in this way, you will create a seamless skincare routine.

It’s important to understand that your skin care routine is as individual as you are. Despite popular belief, skin care isn’t difficult or expensive to implement. You can choose a simple routine if you have the time to spend on it. Remember, though, that you don’t have to follow a celebrity’s 10-step routine every day! And don’t forget to consider how much time you have in the morning or evening!

Your daily skin care routine should contain four simple steps. The first step is cleansing, and the second step is moisturizing. For evenings, you may need to use cleansing oil or micellar water to remove makeup. Don’t rub your eyes when you’re cleansing! Then, you can apply your moisturizer and sunscreen, and if you’re out in the sun, you can combine your two products to get the best benefits of each product.

In the morning, you should apply a serum that contains antioxidants, vitamin C, and hyaluronic acid. Hyaluronic acid will prevent your skin from drying out during the night. You can also find serums that have other benefits, like exfoliants. However, you shouldn’t use too much, so warm two to three drops of oil in your palms, and pat them lightly over your face. It is a good idea to rotate between serums and moisturizers.
